Playing membership is not free of course. There is an annual subscription of £80 (£20 for under 18s or students), which must be paid by the end of May. In addition there is a match fee of £10 (or £5) which includes tea and beer whip.
As the club has a bar licensed by the Metropolitan Police, membership of the club has to follow certain rules.

we are not interested in paying for members!
A deposit of 25% of the annual subscription is required with your application. After you have played at least three games, the management committee will inform you if your application has been successful. If not, the annual subscription paid will be refunded.
