Deadline closing soon on Test Match Auction
Chaps,
The deadline to get your bids is Monday for the test match tickets. (see below).
Very definitely still worth bidding.
Cheers
Trev
As was done for the Ashes last year, the club has (through its affiliation with Surrey) access to tickets for the Pakistan series that we are making available to club members via a silent auction and in the process raise funds for the club.
The tickets we have are as follows:
1. 1 x pair tickets to Day 2 of the 3rd n-power Test at the Oval on Thursday 19th August. (There is a reserve on these tickets of £50ea)
2. 1 x pair tickets to Day 4 of the 3rd n-power Test at the Oval on Saturday 21st August. (Reserve: £50ea)
3. 3 x pair tickets to the Day/Night One Day International at the Oval on Friday 17th September. (Reserve: £60 ea)
The tickets are all sat together.
We are now offering these tickets to the club through a silent auction. This means that everyone can submit a bid to me (trevorashworth@hotmail.com or 07973261627) and the highest bid will win the requested tickets. Please don’t be shy about placing a bid - the winning value is sometimes lower than you think.
A few points to note:
1. The closing date for submission for the test match is the 2nd August and the ODI is the 30th August. Winners will be notified by email and posted on the website.
2. The tickets will be sold in pairs. If you wish to apply for all six ODI tickets please do so as three bids.
3. We will only accept bids above reserve for the tickets- ie £100 minimum for a pair for day 2,- £100 minimum for a pair for day 4,- £120 minimum for a pair for the ODI.
4. The winning bid will be the bid of highest value for each pair of tickets.
5. You are able to bid on multiple tickets should you so wish. However, please give an order of preference if you would only like to be considered for other bids if you fail in your preferred tickets.
6. No information on the current status of the bid will be provided to anyone.
7. I will not be bidding
If you have any questions please let me know.
Happy bidding.

England v Pakistan
URGENT: Calling all cricket fans.
I have 2 Test tickets for England v Pakistan at the Oval, Day 3 on Friday the 20th of August. I can not make it as my friend is selfishly getting married on that day and I have to go. So I can off load them for a cut down price of £50.00 each (even though I paid more for them in the auction!)
